plan is on foot having for its object the
reorganization of the state association and
to renew efforts for securing the passage
of a pharmacy law At the head of this
movement are Messrs JC Means and FW
Rapp of Natchez WA Wright of Columbus JL
Shell and JW Eckford of Aberdeen JC
Schatel of Gloster and W and AG Lillybeck
of Meridian These gentlemen have agreed
to send out circular letters to solicit
subscriptions of $1 from each pharmacist
in the state for the purpose of defraying the
necessary expenses JW Schatel has been
selected by these gentlemen as acting
secretary

Aberdeen was about 1860, when old man
Winkler, about as thick as he was long,
came there and set up a ... It was on a
vacant space of ground, just across Maple
street, east of the Gordon House, and on
the site now covered by the building
beneath ... It was situated in a grove of
pines on the northwest corner of the block
on which the Female College was located.
