proprietor of the old established pharmacy
at 2 First avenue corner of Houston street
New York died in Bellevue Hospital
December 28 1903 from a fractured skull
the result of a fall from a window of his
apartment on the second story of the
building occupied by his pharmacy He had
been in business there since 1862 and only
slept on the premises occasionally his
residence being at 143 West One Hundred
and Third street The deceased was well
known as the proprietor of several
proprietary articles which had more than a
local fame and reputation
