I can not locate any listings for Placerville
Druggists1888-1916 the first I was able to
locate was for L.E. Richards in 1917
The only 5th Street  & Forrest Avenue on the Pacific Coast is  in Victorville, California
Victor, California
Victor Valley, California
The Ghio & Co's Store would have
served the needs of the many
Victor Valley residents a largely
underpopulated area in the
1890's.        Therfore a wise
investment for the Ghio & Co.
investors looking for new markets
especialy in the west.

About 1895, the village was named "Victor" for the California Southern Railroad's
General Manager Jacob Nash Victor. In 1901, the U.S. Post Office Department
changed that name to Victorville to avoid confusion with the town of Victor,
Colorado.
